Beijing based interior designers who named themselves as Robot3 have made a limited budget, insecure project into a successful modern design precedent.
Let’s have a look at what they have done in order to achieve both their personal modern design goals and increased sales for the shop itself.
Referencing the wormhole theory and using cheap materials designers managed to generate a contemporary and shiny space with an ultra low cost.
Modern contemporary elements are not forgotten as the cheap galvanized iron plates and their gleaming nature is being connected to a classic aesthetic chandelier. Together they stand well in representing the society’s differences as well as showing how well they can go together if harmonized accordingly to each other.
Metallic hut that acts as a psychological switch has been chosen with a metaphorical meaning of our nature guardian to be the soft metal itself. Simplicity going side by side with a modern overall set approach creates this connecting feeling you would not want to forget. This all is not even speaking about the entertainment part of the structure that just comes naturally.
Dining position has been chosen as an informal one. This is similar to the squatting one used in picnics and generates an intimate and relaxing atmosphere.
According to the authors, it is a rough division between social classes even nowadays. Invisible walls divide the city and particularly this design aims to overcome the issue by connecting two distant spaces with a modern interior design style that breaks the borders of structure and regulations.
