Opened in 1999, the lifestyle-oriented Time hotel just had an elegant makeover by the famous interior designers, Rockwell Group.
The hotel is now a patchwork of intimate, seductive spaces that provide a sense of calm from the hubbub of its Times Square locale. The designers introduced a multimedia art installation on the entryway and mixes jewel-tone finishes with blackened steel, brass and stone in the main lobby, on the second floor, to create areas of openness and opacity. Dramatic is the best adjective for this property.
The lobby’s lounge, set for work or social meeting, is decorated with modern furniture and heavy curtains, revealing a sumptuous bar, where you can relax and enjoy a drink after a busy day on the Big Apple.
Although all the glamour previously stated, the famous interior designers from the Rockwell Group did not stopped there. On the levels above, the 193 rooms feature oak panelled flooring, freestanding furniture and custom-made watercolour print rugs that effuse a residential feel. The interior designers were able to match the glamour of a 5 star hotel service and the cosiness of home sweet home.
The triplex penthouse suite is particularly comfortable, with a concealed kitchenette, a full dining room, two outdoor terraces and a master bedroom suite taking up one entire floor.
The Rockwell Group is based in downtown New York with offices in Madrid and Shanghai. They are famous interior designers specialized in a wide array of work from luxury hospitality, cultural, and healthcare projects, to educational, product, and set design.
