There’s much more about the UEFA Euro 2016 than soccer. The event has been promoting many other arts, and interiors and design are included. For instance, a luxury apartment has been built on the first level of the Eiffel Tower for fans looking for a novel way to enjoy the show.
Take a tour inside the Paris apartment and see for yourself how beautifully this home was designed – an exclusive created in honor of the European championship (taking place now through July 10).

French interior designer Benoît Leleu made a terrific job when he transformed a conference room in the iconic landmark into the luxurious flat – all in less than 48 hours. It is a soccer-themed spread encompassing an oversized lounge, an urban greenhouse, and two bedrooms. The home was furnished by Italian design house Lago and features sculptural works by Parisian artist Richard Orlinski.
Each day, 500 soccer fans will receive free passes to watch live broadcasts of the ongoing tournament on the home’s big screen, while another 500 will win complimentary tickets to tour the apartment and venture to the top of the Eiffel Tower without having to fall in line.
The custom-built home offers panoramic views of Paris, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Grand Palais, Arc de Triomphe, Sacre Coeur on Montmartre, and the Seine River.
The residence will host a handful of special events, including Yoga Morning (led by a world-renowned instructor); Kids’ Day (packed with fun, free activities for youngsters); and HomeAway LoveAway (dedicated to proposals, vow renewals, and other romantic moments, with guest stars Kaitlyn Bristowe and fiancé Shawn Booth from ABC’s The Bachelorette).
The apartment combines the traditional Parisian Haussman look with contemporary touches, including a stylish babyfoot table and a big screen for watching the footy. This is a relaxed, airy design project created by holiday rental company HomeAway.
The luxury apartment accommodates five people. The space was unveiled on Friday night to coincide with the first match and will stay in place for the duration of the tournament.
