Decorex 2018 has announced its seminar programme and its main speakers, who will discuss the best topics about the interior design world. From the 16th to 19th of September, the finest concepts and products from a hand-picked collection of designers are expertly curated.
The inspiring show is back to Syon Park and again it brings the chance to see the latest collections, meet the makers behind them and source products and inspiration for your own projects.
The experts will debate and explore relevant topics from the industry through detailed discussions. It’s a destination for those who search to learn from the most distinguished names in interior design in an elegant and friendly environment and get to know all about design trends.
Hatta is the Editor of House & Garden magazine. She arrived at the magazine as Features Editor in 2006 and became the Deputy Editor in October 2013. Hatta studied History of Art and Architecture and has also worked as an interior designer, as well as a two-year stint for the South African edition of House & Garden whilst living in Cape Town. She lives in west London with her husband and three small children.
Selina McCabe, Emily Williams and Brian Woulfe will discuss the benefits and challenges of working internationally including topics such as legal, travel and logistics, supplier networks and budgets offering advice to the audience from their own experience.
Jess Sims and Kate Baxter, co-founders of «be.more.HIVE», will give an overview of how to start working with influencers and successfully engage their audience with your business
Country Life’s interiors editor, Giles Kime, will talk with representatives of leading specialists in country house projects including Artichoke, Armstrong Water Monopoly, Weldon, Yiangou, Linley and Artorius Faber and will discuss how they are creating buildings and interiors for the next generation.
Colour Hive Limited, the color experts behind MIX Magazine, present an inspirational seminar profiling four key color stories for Autumn Winter 2019/20, Wild, Story, Solace, and Vibe. Based on this forecast, Hannah Malein will explore how these trends will inform our choices, inspire design concepts and influence material and surface applications for the decorative market.
