THANK YOU FOR YOUR REQUEST
We will be in touch soon.
Italian design company, Moroso, will showcase new furniture at the London Design Festival 2015. Following their preview at the Salone del Mobile, new pieces by Patricia Urquiola and Ron Arad will be exhibited in the London Design Festival for the first time, on display at Moroso’s Rosebery Avenue Showroom in Clerkenwell.
Moroso has been working in close collaboration with some of the world’s most talented designers to produce luxury sofas and seating, such as Patricia Urquiola and Ron Arad.
Along with its product catalogue, the culmination of thirty years work in design and expression, Moroso offers customers its design and production expertise to create customized projects for the contract and luxury residential sectors.
Combining playful forms and experiments with advanced technologies, Ron Arad has emerged as one of the most influential designers of our time. Born in Tel Aviv, he moved to London in 1973 to study architecture and made his name in the early 1980s as a self-taught designer-maker of sculptural furniture. He now works across both design and architecture.
Spanish by birth, and Italian by choice, Patricia Urquiola designs are unconventional, flexible, and experimental, blending humanist sensibilities and technical expertise—qualities that also inform her work as an architect.
September will also see the first presentation of a new collaboration between Moroso, Rubelli and Kvadrat. The Moroso’s dynamic shapes will be reinterpreted by delicate silks from the historic Italian textile firm and soft precious velvet from the Danish textile special collection with Raf Simons.
