London Design Biennale 2018 How Design Influences our Emotion States banner

On 15th until 23rd of September, London becomes the design capital of the world with the London Design Festival where hundreds of large-scale installations, exhibitions, and events pop up in many unique spaces across the city, from world-famous museums to small local studios. Integrated into the famous festival, a Must See exhibition opens its doors to thousands of visitors – the London Design Biennale.

From the 4th until the 23rd of September, it will be able to express through art big questions and ideas about sustainability, migration, pollution, energy, cities, and social equality. More importantly, it will reflect on the influence and impact design has on our very being and every aspect of our lives.

Must See Exhibition on London Design Biennale - The Expression of Emotions Through Time

This year the theme of the London Design Biennale is the Emotional States. The theme has been chosen to provoke a broad interpretation across design disciplines, with immersive and engaging installations that interrogate how design affects every aspect of people’s lives the way we live and how we live but also influences our very being, emotions, and experiences.

Installations will explore the full spectrum of emotional life, from happiness to anger, sadness to disgust. Together the countries’ responses to the theme will present an exciting laboratory of ideas that will investigate the important relationship between design, strong emotional responses and real social needs.
