Design is not only about beauty and elegance. It’s also about how it can affect and change people and consequently the world. Also sharing this point of view is Greenbuild: International Conference and Expo.

This huge event takes place at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, from 6th November to 10th November, in Boston, Massachusetts. Counts with more than 18,000 attendees, as well as 550 exhibitors. Here, many professionals – interior designers, architects, engineers, contractors, developers – share their everyday work, their ideas, their actions to inspire other professionals to go back to work with a new perspective on how they can be environmentally responsible and at the same time help the communities that surround them. The Greenbuild has education sessions to further enlighten them.

Besides the usual exposition of many brands and enterprises that want to share their newest projects and ideas (8th-9th November), the event will have 3 events where people and their work will be celebrated.

• Greenbuild Celebration – this is where all professionals gather and start networking. A more relaxed environment where people can share their thoughts without formalities. All of this, while listening to a local singer or performer.

• Leadership Awards Luncheon – a lunch event where professionals are recognized for their hard work and their inspirational leadership. All of this is applied, of course, to the green building aspect of their professions.When: Thursday, November 9 | 11:00am – 1:00pm

• Women in Green | Power Breakfast – women from all over the world are getting together to celebrate how democracy can express the strength that these women have to be the changing agent of the modern days in all fields – from education to technologies.When: Thursday, November 9, 2017
