In 1987, Langenthal was the place giving birth to the first Designers’ Saturday. Every two years this event provides support for designers not only by helping publicizing their work, but also by stimulating further development, through the exchange of ideas and projects.

Many national and international brands as well as design studios are visualizing ethos, values and products on six venues, working places of the local design industry.

Swiss Design Scene Delivers Designer's Saturday

On the 5/6th of November this event will take place once again. The Designers’ Saturday exhibition venues are located on the premises of five local design studios and at the City Center of  the beautiful Langenthal. With the support of shuttle buses you may leave from the SBB (Swiss Federal Railways) station and official car parks, and giving you the opportunity of visiting all six exhibition venues in two different directions, the buses drive by at short intervals, so you may quickly have the opportunity to change venues. The circuit comes up to 60 minutes, so you can visit each venue as you wish and at your convenience.
