Reopened one of the most luxurious hotels in Paris. After four years of work the great hotel is back. During the rededication, dozens of staff and messengers in and out of the establishment, located in the luxurious Place Vendome, carrying vases, flower arrangements and other decorative items.
This hotel, located in the Paris Vendôme square, and owned by Egyptian billionaire Mohammed Al Fayed since 1979, closed on 1 August 2012 to undergo major work of reform.
The hotel, which will from now with 142 rooms and suites – before retirement were 159. The renovation work included the creation of a summer restaurant, also have two gastronomic restaurants, Le Jardin de l’Espadon, which will open to noon, and La Table de l’Espadon, for dinner service. Those who prefer can opt for a discreet entrance to the hotel, through a tunnel eight meters open in a parking lot. Some suites can cost between one thousand to 27 thousand euros per day.
The Ritz is the first of a number of luxury hotels that will reopen its doors after years of work.
