Things to do in Singapore? Christmas comes to Gardens By The Bay in the form of the Christmas Wonderland. Until January 3, this art exhibition is one of the places to go in singapore, visiting the Luminarie light sculptures handmade with white wood from Italy and the Blizzard Dome for a taste of snow in tropical Singapore.
Also check out the Christmas Toyland floral display in the Flower Dome, featuring an 11-metre tall toy-decked Christmas pyramid and a German wooden carousel which will host live performances.
There is also an elaborate tent adorned in mirrors and stained glass, as well as a European- style festive market. Crowned as Singapore’s biggest yuletide fair, decorated with Italian Luminarie light sculptures throughout the park, an Ice Skating Rink in the Ice Palace, a 14-metre tall Helter Skelter Slide and Christmas choral sessions under a stunning Cassa Armonica gazebo. You do not need to leave Singapore for a spectacular and fun filled Christmas this year.
A giant Christmas tree decorated with the Gardens’ signature dragonfly motif greets visitors at the Golden Garden, near the main attraction’s entrance. You can also see the 16-metre tall Frontone arrival arches, the first of the Luminarie light sculptures, leading you into a Christmas Wonderland located in the Flower Dome and the Supertree Grove.
The displays revolve around a storyline of teddy bear Santa Clauses preparing for Christmas. Guests are brought on a tour of North Pole to witness the bears busy getting toys ready and finally delivery them to kids around the world.
Christmas Wonderland, Singapore’s biggest yuletide fair, was created to enthral visitors with a combination of magnificent sculptures of light and charming festive markets alongside carnival games. Do not miss this oportunity.
