The last year was atypical in several sectors due to the pandemic of COVID-19. After a time of instability, where events around the world had to be cancelled, routine looks set to return to normal in 2022. In the interior design sector, some of the most traditional events are set to take place this year.

These design fairs are essential to reveal new trends in interior design, present new products and projects, as well as establishing contacts and analysing what is being produced in the market. Here we will talk about a few that will take place in Europe in the coming months.

Maison&Objet

One of the best Design Events, Maison&Objet, will be attend in Paris from March 24th and 28th. The 2022’s theme is New Luxury: From Uber Luxury to Lux Populis and the trade show will analyse the new trend that the luxury sector is following by exploring combinations of couture craftsmanship with the technology increasingly present in the area.

Salone del Mobile.Milano

Initially scheduled for April, the traditional Salone del Mobile.Milano, in Milan, will be held between June 7th and 12th. Organised since 1961, the fair is an excellent opportunity to see the best and most modern in interior design, all in one of the cities of the world that breathes technology, design and innovation.

Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair

Last but not least important, we will talk about one of the biggest interior design fairs in Scandinavia and Europe: Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair. Just like other traditional events in the industry, this fair also had to be postponed due to the pandemic, meaning it was moved from February to September.

The “summer version” of the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, in Sweden, is scheduled to take place from September 6 to 9 and is aimed at enthusiasts from all over the world to celebrate design innovations and beautiful things and at the same time discover Stockholm as a great design destination.
