Barton Creek’s Residence: Luxury Home Design Furnished By BRABBU

Another amazing project in the history of BRABBU. From hotels, restaurants to the best and most luxurious stores in the world, this time we present the best of luxury home design in an Etch Design Group project.

With a background of more than 15 years in the design world, Etch Design Group aims to craft custom residential and commercial projects. They give them true design experiences, combining at the same time the expertise and creativity from both interior designers – Stephanie Lindsay & Jessica Nelson. The main goal of this company is to make a lasting impression on its clients and with the help of BRABBU’s products that is exactly what they did in the Barton Creek residence, winner of Luxe. Red Awards – Reader’s Choice 2018.

This project involved the work of many professionals in architecture – Cornerstone Architects, in contract – Metropolitan Custom Homes: Keith Husbands, and in designers – Etch Design Group, to give this family of five, with three young boys, the perfect home. The main inspiration came from Austin, Texas’ hippiest hotel – Hotel Saint Cecilia, where features like colour, unique architecture and contemporary design were taken into an account, as well as the clients own eclectic and edgy styles by the interior designers. They brilliantly transported all these characteristics into the comfort of their own home, hand-selecting all furniture and accessories were hand-selected specifically for the clients with their personal style and preferences in mind. BRABBU was one of the furniture brands chosen to breathe life into two of the most important rooms of any home – the Master Bedroom and the Study/Office – in the form of the MAYA Armchair and the BEGONIA Armchairs.

Upon entering the Master Bedroom, it automatically exudes elegance and a Hollywood glam appeal with strategically well-placed elements such as the long-haired white Alapaca rug and the cream four-poster bed with golden details. To top the design off with sophistication, pops of colour like the vibrant blue custom drapery and the soft blue MAYA Armchair were added to contrast the neutral tones of the room.

For a retreat to relaxion, the clients envisioned an Upscale Study with a few elements with bright colours and details, hence the navy cabinets and the gold and grey wall coverings. Giving the study a small part of the owners’ personality, the interior designers added a zebra rug and hide ottomans inspired by their love for hunting, and BRABBU’s BEGONIA Armchairs with clean lines that enhance their more sophisticated side when it comes to design.

This is another example of a beautiful residential project where beauty and functionality can coexist and bring together elements of decoration that were customized to fit the clients’ needs and styles. It was with this philosophy of creating impactful interior designs and this particular project that Etch Design Group won many awards inclusively the Luxe. Red Awards – Reader’s Choice 2018 and was published in magazines such as Austin/San Antonio Home Design & Décor (February/March issue).
