The new Concept Store and Café Jaime Beriestain

The Concept Store and Café Jaime Beriestain was recently opened. Located in the Eixample district of Barcelona, Spain; this unique space incorporates Jaime’s tastes in interior design with a selection of furniture, paintings, and other objects, together with menu elements personally selected by the famous interior designer.

In this multi-dynamic place, Jaime Beriestain gives Barcelona what is missing: a special place with restored vintage furniture, antiques, flowers, candles, international books, perfumes, handmade carpets and a collection of personal art.

The Concept Store and Café Jaime Beriestain is the kind of the place that the designer would hang out himself. Several natural environments home-decor the place: one corner of urban decor, country, sea, and a rustic mountain component. Beriestain has personally acquired the pieces of vintage furniture restored from the 60’s and 70’s, during his numerous travels.

The store has 500 square meters, and contains, besides the store and café-restaurant an area entirely cover with flowers, wich Beriestain wanted to give prominence in this Concept Store; with the guidance of a flower’ specialist, floral arrangements are created for events under the designer’s supervision.

This place offers traditional gastronomic cuisine as well as flavorful market creations. Javier Beriestain personally created the menu with the chef. The café only uses local ingredients and authentic materials to build their cuisine. It also provides a selection of low-calorie dishes for those regulars that pay special attention to diet but do not want to sacrifice the pleasure of good food. The menu also has some great desserts, all homemade.

This incredible store and café-restaurant have an 80 person capacity. The menu also includes breakfast and brunch with a selection of delicious cakes and pastries. And finally, a wide range of drinks for the evening and a DJ offering live sessions.
