PAD is one of the most important design events in the world and has become a magnet for international collectors of design and decorative arts. PAD Genève is Geneva’s first design art fair devoted exclusively to modern and contemporary furniture and the decorative arts.

In February 2018, 27 of the world’s top design galleries were invited to participate in the inaugural fair housed at the Palexpo, joining the already existing contemporary art fair artgenève. Each gallery specializes in a specific time period, style or collection of individual designers.

In one convenient location, the fair provides an opportunity for both new and established collectors to discover the evolution of historic and contemporary design, as well as buy the best pieces available on the market today. Design market gained its popularity from modern and contemporary art. Last year, PAD Genève attracted over 20,000 collectors and design enthusiasts over 5 days.

For its second edition (from January 31 to February 3), PAD Genève returns to the Palexpo alongside artgenève with an increased number of exhibitors further highlighting the symbiotic relationship between contemporary art and design.
