They believe that as architects, they have a critical role to play in creating places and processes that foster equity and justice and that empower historically marginalized communities.
1. Solstice On The Park
Located in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood, Solstice on the Park is a twenty-six-story residential tower-shaped by the angles of the sun and one of the first Studio Gang projects to explore the idea of solar carving for environmental advantages.
2. 11 Hoyt Project
A new condominium tower, 11 Hoyt is designed to provide space for nature and community to thrive, vertically, within the densifying neighborhood of Downtown Brooklyn.
3. City Hyde Park Project
City Hyde Park reimagines the urban apartment building, bringing new options for living, recreation, and leisure to its full-block site—formerly a strip mall and under-used parking lot.
Located at a busy commercial intersection near Lake Michigan, adjacent to a commuter rail stop, and with 20% affordable units, it is designed as a pedestrian-friendly hub that has a positive impact on the greater urban evolution of its neighborhood.
4. One Hundred Project
One Hundred is a new residential tower overlooking Forest Park in St. Louis. The tower, Studio Gang’s first project in the city, rises over 380 feet and includes retail, amenities, parking, and residential apartments with views of the park to the west and the Gateway Arch to the east.

5. Harbor Point Residence
Located in the Harbor Point high-rise, a 52-story tower constructed in the early 1970s, this residence was originally two separate apartments.
Combining the units into a single, 1,900-square feet home, the design makes use of a limited palette of finishes and colors to simplify and expand the space while enhancing its incredible views of the city.
6. Maisonette Project
Maisonette transforms a former ballroom space into a comfortable modern home and sleek showcase for the family’s art collection.
7. Shoreland Project
Built during the height of the Jazz Age, the Shoreland was one of Chicago’s most glamorous hotels
Studio Gang’s renovation and restoration of this storied structure transform the Shoreland into a contemporary residential tower for today’s city dwellers.
8. Brick Weave House
The Brick Weave House sits on the footprint of a century-old stable on an eclectic block of Chicago’s West Town neighborhood. By removing the original front walls and roof, the design creates a garden through subtraction, surrounded by a brick screen that both reveals and encloses the private courtyard and house beyond.
9. Belden Loft
In the Belden Loft, an interior courtyard replaces the typical external balcony, enhancing both comfort and style.
