1- Chelsea Apartment

The formal living room features burgundy silks and velvets against handmade grey oak panelling and silk wallpaper in a rich colour palette. We built a more relaxing TV area with handmade joinery to hold the TV, audiovisual equipment, and air conditioning by zoning the enormous open plan area through a subtle colour shift from burgundy to warm almond tones. The four bedrooms give the ideal London headquarters for its clients, combining comfort with elegance and ample wardrobe storage.
2- Chelsea Harbour

The surrounding architecture and backdrop of the renowned Chelsea power station are reflected in a contemporary colour choice of blues, creams, and almond highlights. For the bedrooms, a more subdued, soothing colour palette was selected. To establish statement focal points in the Living Room and Master Bedroom, key bespoke joinery pieces were designed.

3- Countryside Surrey Hills

This house is set off by a gentle palette of lighter woods in shades of blonde and taupe, as well as elegant bronze metals and polished plaster. The sumptuous master suite has hand-painted chinoiserie on the custom headboard and dressing area, as well as meticulously selected Calacatta Oro marble. A large kitchen with Neolith worktops, hand-stained oak cabinetry, and all of the latest appliances is carefully positioned next to a custom wine cellar. The rest of the house is decorated with custom cabinetry, in-house created furnishings, and accent colours that give each room its own distinct individuality.

4- Esher Townhouse

This house has been intended to weather the test of time and form the ultimate in classic contemporary design, from the silk thread wall covering and handmade crystal chandelier in the drawing-room to the extensive use of bookmatched calacatta marble in the kitchen. We’ve added creative storage solutions throughout, such as the integrated storage on the master bedroom’s headboard wall, which is hidden beneath hand-painted silk chinoiserie panels- a painstaking design solution for extra wardrobe space. To guarantee that this family house functions as well as it appears, no detail has been ignored.
5- Holiday House

They were tasked with designing the open plan kitchen/family room at the first-holiday house in London and they came up with a garden oasis theme. We chose a relaxing palette of greens, bronze, cream, and taupe to emphasize the garden viewed through the French doors across the room, taking inspiration from the beginning point of the silk hand-painted Wisteria design wallpaper. This chamber was open to the public for a month, along with the work of 25 selected designers who were invited to participate, with proceeds from ticket sales benefiting breast cancer research.
6- Hyde Park

An international customer chose Sophie Paterson Interiors to restore their infrequent London property and bring the huge lateral apartments’ decor up to speed with the family’s contemporary tastes. A rich but comfortable material palette is combined with Sophie Paterson’s classic contemporary aesthetic and clean line architecture.
7- Knightsbridge Apartment Two

This three-bedroom, grade II listed Victorian apartment was completely renovated and modernized. From obtaining English Heritage approval to managing the license to alter for this massive refurbishment, they oversaw and managed the whole reconstruction. The apartment was modernized extensively and renovated to create three more ensuite bathrooms. To create a liveable but elegant home, they developed comfortable, contemporary furniture, maximized storage with extensive joinery in all rooms and added rich finishes such as the chinoiserie wallpaper in the master bedroom.

8- Knightsbridge Apartment

They were tasked with totally redesigning and overseeing the refurbishment of this 2700 square foot period flat in order to create an inviting but magnificent house inspired by our client’s trips to some of the world’s most opulent locales. They drew colour inspiration for the colour scheme from the client’s existing artwork in the primary rooms, such as the dusty pink and soft gold tones in the formal sitting room. We designed significant bespoke joinery throughout the flat to maximize storage, which was a key consideration.

9- Marylebone Townhouse

The project incorporates a rich, earthy colour palette with tactile, rustic elements while maintaining a premium atmosphere throughout the home. With its varied heights of simple yet stunning alabaster pendants, a handmade, contemporary chandelier links two stories. They designed unique furnishings to match the home’s high-end status, ensuring a seamless marriage of design and architecture.
10- Mayfair

High ceilings, detailed plasterwork, and panelling throughout the space provide a stunning backdrop for contemporary classic furnishings. The primary rooms, which use a soothing palette of neutrals with rich burgundy accents, scream luxury, from the handprinted silk wallpaper to the sophisticated exotic veneers. With handmade cabinets in a palette of light grey oak, bronze, buttery soft leather, and sleek quartzite countertops and splashbacks, a contemporary streamlined kitchen offers a contrast to the opulence elsewhere.
