iSaloni Fair 2022 is back with the best trends. This is the greatest interior design event in Milan since 1961. Salone del Mobile has the purpose to promote the best furniture solutions – for that, iSaloni Fair reunites over 2 000 exhibitors to showcase their excellent goods for the best high-end contemporary living. So, let’s look at some of the greatest inspirations that will make an appearance in this unique event.

iSaloni Fair 2022

Designing sustainability, celebrating beauty

For the sixtieth edition of Salone del Mobile, this year’s main theme is sustainability. So, from the 7th to the 12th of June 2022, the biggest interior design event will take place at Rho Fiera Milano. This year’s iSaloni Fair 2022 will include a dynamic exhibition layout presenting the most innovative ideas and concepts from the most well-known brands.

Several goals for this wonderful event were outlined during their Press Conference: quality, innovation, beauty, and, now more than ever, sustainability. Following two difficult years as a result of the pandemic, iSaloni 2022 looks ahead, mindful of its long history, and the goal is ambitious: to demonstrate that it is both possible and critical to resume holding large international events in person, while also incorporating sustainability and environmental awareness into furniture creation.

This year’s events

EUROCUCINA

Since kitchens are becoming multifunctional spaces, expressions of contemporary living, their boundaries with other domestic spaces becoming increasingly blurred to the point of disappearance – fluid, hybrid, integrated spaces. So, at this iSaloni Fair 2022 event, the EuroCucina biannual exposition, as well as its subsidiary events Technology For the Kitchen and the International Bathroom Exhibition, will be present. For years, bathroom manufacturers have been investing in research and development in order to develop low-energy products that respond to the most recent market demands for sustainability, responding with increasingly technological and green-oriented products without sacrificing the emotional component.

Programme of Talks

Following the Supersalone experience, this iSaloni Fair 2022 will also be a stage for sharing experiences. Conversations and debates with the most prominent personalities on the modern design scene are thrown into the mix – a concrete invitation to contemplate and share truly constructive opinions on today’s most urgent topics, such as ecological transition and the role of digital in the near future. One of the meetings will be dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Salone del Mobile.

International Bathroom Exhibition 2022

The International Bathroom Exhibition, now in its eighth edition, is the primary international event for those interested in bathroom furnishing, attracting all the key actors – from architects to major buying groups and individual merchants – as well as modern consumers. On more than 17,000 m2, 172 exhibitors will present the best of worldwide manufacture, ranging from furniture and accessories to shower cubicles, porcelain sanitaryware, radiators, taps and fittings, and bathtubs.

S. Project

S.Project, the exhibition devoted to designing products and large-scale project solutions, will make a return after its debut in 2019. It will highlight the most significant lines of research into surfaces and solutions that will allow the design of individual pieces to be transferred to that of whole environments.
