Only two days have passed since the beginning of imm Cologne 2019. The trade show exhibits hundreds of international brands with a goal in common: share their passion and their craft to the whole world of interior design. We bring you some of the most interesting products/brands so far.

Every year, Das Haus at IMM Cologne showcases an emerging designer’s personal vision of contemporary, domestic living in a space of 180m2. This year, Truly Truly responds to fluid living by creating a house divided into various atmospheric moods rather than functions. The presentation encompasses architecture, interior design, as well as new products & prototypes.
The design lines of Wildspirit is small but versatile! Shaped by both reknown and upcoming international designers like Alain Berteau, Michael Bihain, Samuel Chan, Gerd Couckhuyt, Anita Nevens, Cas Moor & Lieven Musschoot and Sylvain Willenz. Each one of their pieces stands strong on its own but fits perfectly with every other Wildspirit design.

LievoreAltherr began in 2016 after a 25 year trajectory as Lievore Altherr Molina. The Barcelona-based studio specializes in product design & development, strategic consulting, creative direction, art direction, and ephemeral architecture for internationally recognized design companies such as Arper, Andreu World, Vibia, Tribu, among others. The firm develops projects using an established strategy: a creative concept integrating product design and its communication.
The Danish architect Bodil Kjær’s Cross-Plex™ lamp first saw the light of day in 1961. This lamp – shaped like a cross and moulded in plexiglass, hence the name – consists of only the very necessary. Cross-Plex is therefore a pure reflection of the architect and designer’s characteristic clean-cut and straight lines. Seen from its profile, the table lamp almost looks like a miniature building with the opal shade representing an illuminated roof.
In 1955 Gallotti&Radice established an artistic space dedicated to glass decoration. Tradition and innovation came together to enable small-scale yet precious production. The first pieces included lighting appliances, furnishing items, mirrors. They were all one-off pieces. They were all exclusively handcrafted.
In STUDIO FAUBEL, every detail is taken into account. Again and again. “Who says that a wall-mounted tablet stand for the kitchen cannot be a knife block and a towel holder?” is one of their mottos. In 1947 Carlo Barassi, together with Renato Teanifounded the company Ar-flex (flexible furniture), that became later arflex. They worked together with the architect Marzo Zanusoand began to experiment the use of foam rubber and elastic tapes for the furniture market.
Reflex Angelo was the first brand that used Murano massive glass as a base for its tables, and ever since it has always been privileging the use of high-quality materials, such as glass, marble, forged iron and wood, applying new contrasts and technological processes. The brand collaborates with famous architects, both Italian and foreign.
