Restaurant Interior Ideas: there’s a new cool restaurant in New York. After a decade, well-known Italian restauranteurs Mario Batali and Jow Bastianich opened a place in the city, La Sirena. The restaurant is located in Chelsea’s Maritime Hotel and is a joy for both food and interior design lovers. Take a look!
This 60s-inspired restaurant features a 38-foot-long bar with a white Caesarstone counter. At either end, beautiful arched portals, sheathed in marble, lead to the more formal dining room areas, in a white and grey color scheme, picking up the palette of the terrazzo floors. The tile pattern was custom-made, taking inspiration from a town square in Lisbon. This is the central motif of the restaurant, giving it a bold and cool vibe. The lighting is another important part of the design, giving it a modern and sophisticated atmosphere.
“This could be a Fellini set, right? Look at that floor, look at that lighting, look at the Caesarstone walls,” says Batali. “The space is unlike any other in the city. It’s the alfresco experience I’ve been waiting for.” It’s the place for enjoying Italian classics!
