On January 18, Paris Déco Off will unveil the latest global design trends for 2023. This year’s edition has invited approximately 100 designers of fabrics, wallpapers, trimmings, and other items from around the world to set up shop in the heart of Paris under the umbrella of art and culture, focusing on sustainability. The numerous showrooms and pop-ups in Saint-Germain-des-Prés on the Left Bank, as well as Rue du Mail and Place des Victoires on the Right Bank, are set to host a five-day celebration of discovery and exchange.

Each edition of the event provides an opportunity to imagine future design through breathtaking installations that continually push the boundaries of home décor as demonstrated by the participants’ creations. Ecart International’s large furniture will display a bombastic display of technical mastery and aesthetics, as seen in the company’s new outdoor fabrics, and this year is no exception.
Along with this presentation, participating firms in the Paris Déco Off will adorn their exterior window displays for the Festival of Fabrics with elaborate hangings, wallpaper, and curtains. For the thirteenth year, the several enormous lamps that have served as Paris Déco Off’s sparkling emblem will return to give the city’s streets the ambience of an elegant outdoor interior.

Interior designer and artistic director Alice Forest will construct a bedroom and lounge inside transparent bubbles, furnished with cardboard pieces by Emmanuelle Zarée, an artist with Les Ateliers du Carton. A selection of 2023 launches by Paris Déco Off competitors will create a colourful show of timeless modern technology inside.
