Ryan Saghian received his Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Architecture from the Art Institute of California’s CIDA design school. Nowadays, he already opened a flagship showroom, Ryan Saghian Home, at Robertson and Third in Los Angeles in 2016.

Ryan has a particular style, he especially stands out for his fluency in vintage and decadent Hollywood styles. In his projects, he chooses flawless furniture and uses High-contrast colour palettes and statement style mixes.

From striking Art Deco to Hollywood Regency — brass-trimmed everything, carefully bookmatched black marbles and eye-catching contemporary art, what inspires his designs is Traveling more than anything and the colourful background of his Iranian heritage.

For his creative process, he always starts with magazines to brainstorm some ideas and then jumps on the computer and skim Pinterest before starting to sketch.

Saghian doesn’t try to change the luxurious, L.A. aesthetic either. He embraces it and keeps his designs true to the culture and history of Hollywood.

With an eye adept at tailoring opulence beyond superficial extravagance, Saghian’s work encapsulates everything from furnishings, wall treatments and rugs of his own design.

His own Design includes a signature scent inspired by a favourite childhood memory revived in scented candle form. This emotional memory is consistent throughout Saghian’s work, whether designing a space or an object.

Saghian uses a cool and luxurious look on his residential designs, they both look like a living art museum with some masterpieces unique furniture. More than vintage furniture, it is the diversity of LA’s surroundings that inspire Ryan’s glamorous designs.

A cross between art deco and mid-century modern, his designs are modern remakes of classic designs.

Saghian’s signature luxurious, confident and layered designs have been featured in publications like Architectural Digest, Vogue, Elle Décor, Interiors California, House Beautiful, Robb Report, Traditional Home, and Modern Luxury, among other top tier outlets. 

Until now, he already introduced a line of couture furniture in 2014, a dramatic wallcoverings collection in 2018, a top-selling dinnerware line in 2020, a luxury rug collection and most recently a tile collection in partnership with DOMVS Surfaces.
