Salone del Mobile is almost over, but this major event set the trend for the next year’s inspiration when it comes to interior design and furnishing solutions. It is time to browse the most exclusive product brands presented at this year’s event!
The next generation of Design
Modular Sofas
Modular Sofas are one of the main and exclusive products showcased at this year’s Salone del Mobile. These are constructed from a series of moveable components known as modules. These modules are available in a variety of forms, such as arm or chaise sections, allowing you to create the ideal sofa for your needs.

BRABBU showcased the brand new BOHOL Modular Sofa – Inspired by the Bohol mountains in the Philippines, this sofa was the main star at the living room stand, and it is now ready to also be the star in every interior design.

In this year’s stand, Boca do Lobo takes the visitors through a sensitive journey in only one space, mixing ancient, craftsmanship techniques with challenging technological innovations, finding beauty and luxury between these two antagonistic concepts – and the opulent design of their Modular Sofa is the definition of these ideas.

Swivel chairs
A swivel chair is an excellent choice for a living room chair since it enables adaptable conversation zones with silhouettes that are just as stylish and inviting as any standard armchair. Classic, linen skirted swivel chairs are ideal for traditional living rooms with a casual, rustic feel.

BRABBU showed their brand new range of swivel chairs at this year’s Salone del Mobile. After the success of the iconic ESSEX Armchair, other chairs were the stars in Milan.

At LUXXU Stand, Swivel chairs were also in highlight. The Otto Swivel Armchair has a unique round shape that provides impeccable comfort and style. It exudes a mid-century vibe and luxury design, as it’s made with the most precious materials by amazing craftsmen.

Neutral Colours and natural materials
Natural materials, versatile spaces, retro vintage, and curved furniture are likely to dominate the interior design trend in 2022. Interiors, on the other hand, are becoming less about what’s current and more about personal expression, similar to how fashion has evolved in recent years.

Natural colour schemes and organic forms seen in nature, according to research, reduce stress, lower blood pressure and heart rate, boost productivity and creativity, and make us happy. Given this, it’s no surprise that “Naturalness” will be the main scheme with top interior design ideas centred on making people feel emotionally at ease. From natural materials and colours to rich textures, organic curves, and curved furniture, everything that is warm, welcome, and cosy is in – and these two ideas were strongly present at Salone del mobile 2022 stands.
