Living Room
The apartment is designed with an elegantly chic and beautiful serene sensibility by Lo Chen Design. Lo’s design complements the setting, layout, and views of the apartment masterfully, bringing out all of its best features as well as lovely contrast and colours.
The designed space in the living room is airy and bright due to the floor to ceiling window and the featured light grey linen drapery dresses up the window, stylishly warming up the whole space.
Sitting in the Bubble Chair at the corner of the living room, you can enjoy the impeccable view of downtown Manhattan with a highlight of the One World Trade Center.
The industrial modernist design of the chair provides for a seating experience that is simultaneously encapsulating and transparent at the same time. The transparent chair floating off the ground gives a whimsical feeling of light airiness.
The living room is designed with a natural colour palette of white, different shades of grey, and blue to give a sense of tranquillity. The living room features a ventless freestanding fireplace that creates a lavish and cosy fireside experience.
The contemporary white framed mirror TV blends in with the rest of the apartment while the mobile ceiling lighting by Aqua Creation with silk fabric shade elegantly radiates brilliance across open space. Adding a unique refinement to the whole area, the lighting effortlessly ties the living, dining, and kitchen together.
The sectional sofa in off-white velvet fabric, along with the fluffy and shiny decorative pillows and throw in grey and turquoise colours, add modern and luxurious texture to the living space. The sofa is also multi-functional that can be turned into a queen bed for guests while the contemporary light grey wool area rug adds a vibrant and crisp look to existing home décor.
The simple and neat white lacquer coffee table can be folded in half for space-saving. It is dressed with books, a handcrafted terrarium, a playable art piece by Norma Marquez and accessories. The two square ottomans are stored underneath the table and can be used to serve more guests.
Dining Room
This dining area offers a unique and different dining and entertaining experience that you and your guests will enjoy and love. The custom dark grey crushed velvet dining booth is elegant and welcoming.
The iconic Saarinen round dining table whose form was inspired by a drop of high-viscosity liquid features a cast-aluminium base with an abrasion-resistant Rilsan finish and a polished Arabescato marble top.
This stunning piece is paired with Fortnum tufted nailhead Parsons chairs. It creates a chic, modern, and luxurious dining adventure.
The Topography wall installation is composed of hand-blown, one-of-a-kind organic glass bowl forms. The combination of the shiny interior and frosted exterior surfaces emphasize the curvilinear lines of the forms and create a gentle contrast in colour. It serves as a conversation piece in the dining room.
Similar to the living space, the dining area is multi-functional. The cabinet on the right serves as a mini-bar. The one on the left serves as a buffet cabinet. The white lacquer cabinet with nickel detail around it creates a modernized oriental style.
Moreover, custom design handmade ceramic vases by Na Suen are a charming touch and distinctively placed on the floating shelves with various succulents, each piece different in its character.
To complete the design for the dining area, a handmade 1000 pinches porcelain bowl Isabel Halley Ceramics with the silver rim is elegantly placed on the round dining table with the always favoured white orchid.
Master Bedroom
The bedroom design creates a calm, soothing, and serene retreat for the body after a long and busy day of work.
The natural colour palette of white, beige, and different shades of grey in the bedroom generate a peaceful zen composition, while the deluxe silk wallpaper in Moonlight Silver adds rich colour, texture, and depth as the feature wall of the room. In addition, the dark grey wool drapery adds contrast and volume to this area.
The tufted headboard with polished nickel nail heads in beige and majestic velvet reflects an Old World Hollywood glam style. It is subtle, yet appealing. Additionally, a handmade flatweave diamond taupe cotton area rug enhances and completes the colour palette.
The contemporary Marina mirrored nightstands provide the bedroom with a gleaming aura. The clear glass knobs add an elegant finishing touch. The nine rustic handcrafted mirrors on the bedroom wall are loaded with character and an antiqued appeal. The mirrors are also functional as they create a more spacious looking room.
The wisely devised bookcase is a sophisticated storage system. The reclaimed pine and antique black iron bookcase are elegant yet efficient in space while the maze-like design transforms your collection of books and curios into a storied and artful display.
