In the last 30 years, the design studio has evolved from a residential design firm in one of the leading design agencies multidisciplinary boutique nation. Zeff believes the attention to detail given to his private residential clients is essential to your success and is a feature that the company has maintained throughout its evolution. This, began his career in the United States in residential design, creating homes for customers, including Hilary Swank, Annie Leibovitz and Gabriel Bryne, among others. The strength and range of the company’s residential projects laid the foundations for its expansion in commercial design and branding.
MARKZEFF works with Virgin Group Hotel, hotels Kimpton and LXR to develop several hotels and restaurants. Today, they are developing their own brand of hotel resort called Aquila and is partnered with the renowned chef John Doherty in a restaurant in Manhattan.
Zeff first ventured into hospitality design working with New York City-based restaurateur Jimmy Bradley of DLA Restaurants in 1998. Today, The Red Cat and The Harrison restaurants still enjoy their stellar reputations for their culinary delights as well as for the ambiance created by the design firm. Working coast to coast, their hospitality projects such as restaurant design include Town Hall in San Francisco.
