Based in Paris, Charles Zana’s architectural practice creates exceptional spaces all over the world. The interior architect considers his own style as modern classic and that shows in his works, from residential, shop and exhibition design projects.
Fifteen architects, interior architects and designers work with Charles Zana on projects ranging from private houses and apartments to company head offices. Interiors serene, highly structured and richly poetic, and that’s why the french architect means design inspiration for so many.

This master bedroom, in a neutral color scheme, is part of a 2014 project Zana developped in London. The white walls and fabrics, in the bed and in the upholstered chairs, give the room a sense of elegance.
Big windows invite natural light to enter the room. In fact, an incredible glass wall floods the space with natural daylight, and at the same time the soft color scheme mantains the home decor in style. This is an apartment in Monaco, still in progress.
Back in 2013, Charles Zana designed an apartment in Ranelagh, Ireland. Beige, grey and some golden details were beautifully worked into a modern interior design.
Zana’s injected some astounding design features such as the darkened wood, fabrics and golden details in the room.
Zana’s design for this house in Normandy – a project from 2013 – provides a bold sophistication and incredible ambience that gives the place a feel of sobriety and elegance.
In 2006, a Loft in Flandrin was designed with bold orange details, as well as an overall black and white color scheme gave balance to the room.
Zana admits he doesn’t like too much decoration, and that is clear in his 2012 project in Villa Cologny. Instead he is a fan of art. And he does like quality materials. The designer pays a lot of attention to the flow of the home, then the colour, the materials and then the light.
