Headset transmits sound through the bones
Technological progress increases with great speed. All sectors innovate in a large part with the design and functions. This is the case of Batband the new headset with elegant design to transmits sound through the bones.
SEE ALSO: TECHNOLOGY AND DESIGN
Most headphones completely drown out external sound, causing the person only hear what’s coming out of the accessory and nothing more. Thinking about it, a project on Kickstarter promises to transmit sound using bone conduction. Basically, it is a phone that emits sound waves through the skull bones, freeing external ears.
Created by a group of British entrepreneurs, the Batband is inspired by dolphins and bats, which emit ultrasonic waves to communicate. The headset sends signals to the inner ear user, providing a practical result as distinctive as is the similarity of the device with traditional equipment
Called Batband, the name refers to bats because the animals emit ultrasonic waves to communicate, hunt prey and avoid obstacles
The device is similar to a hair tiara and involves the whole back of the head, with their tips above the ears. It is controlled with a touchpad or touch the buttons that are at the ends.
The headphones also stand out for their beautiful design and the multi-function control system with a futuristic touch. There is also a built-in microphone that allows the user to make phone calls and listen to someone else, coming directly from inside your head
The Batband has three transducers: two that lead the sound through the temporal bone and one that is on the back of the head, driving through the occipital bone. The accessory also comes with an integrated microphone for use in smartphones.
the creative company promises a high quality sound by literally surround your sound head.
