Restaurant Interior Ideas: Faith & Flower is a contemporary Los Angeles restaurant that mixes the city’s neighborhood vibes with a touch of the 1920’s golden age. An interesting fact about this restaurant is that its name actually pays homage to precisely those two eras: the 20’s and the modern day. “Faith” was the alleged name of the street on which the restaurant is located and “Flower” is its current name.
This restaurant with character was designed by AvroKO. Known for creating thoughtful, provocative environments that tell a story, it is considered one of the most innovative design firms in the field. Recognized by The James Beard Awards, Hospitality Design Awards and HA &D Award, AvroKO portfolio includes restaurants, hotels, retail and residential projects from New York to Hong Kong.
The restaurant interiors transmit a bygone era of nostalgia and romance. Its decorative elements like the emerald green water goblets and the amazing lamps reflect the intersection of modernity and antiquity. One of the walls is composed of distressed doors from the 1920’s and there’s also an entire wall mural by highly acclaimed local street artist Robert Vargas. The upholstery is incredible as well as the lighting that brings even more glamour to the space.
Located in the WaterMarke Tower in DTLA’s South Park district and with Michael Hung as Chef, this restaurant is worth a visit!
