The restaurant interior ideas series is our way to share some amazing locations around the world where you can enjoy both good food and good interior design. Today we are flying to Buenos Aires, more specifically to Casa Cavia, an enchanting fusion of sights, sounds, tastes and eras.

This eclectic house, known as the Bollini Roca residence, was designed back in 1927 by the architect Alejandro Christophesen as a personal gift to the owner’s wife. It has now been transformed into a chic cultural destination by the entrepreneur Guadalupe Garcie Mosqueda. Apart from a restaurant, it also includes a publishing house, bookstore, flowershop and perfumery. How interesting is that!

The London and San Francisco-based Kallos Turin Architects were called to restore the interiors of the residence into a modern cultural center while keeping the historical essence of the building. The restaurant has some gorgeous sleek, clean lines with plush materials and minimal accessories. With a beautiful moss green and grey palette, it includes some elegant materials like marbles, brass, leather and velvet that make the room look luxurious and modern while keeping its classic style.

Located in the leafy Buenos Aires neighbourhood of Palermo Chico, the restaurant is headed by chef Pablo Massey. It is definitely a must-visit spot whether to enjoy a meal inside the beautiful, elegant room or out in the stunning garden while enjoying the good weather.
