Bright news for globe-trotters: Lonely Planet has revealed its latest ‘Best in Travel‘ choices  for 2017, which means there’s a brand new list of countries to see and  to add to your vacation wish-list.

Where are the trendiest places to visit next year? According to the brand’s in-house experts, Canada is the top place to visit  for several reasons.”First, it’s the country’s biggest birthday party in recent memory with the sesquicentennial next year, and they won’t be shy about celebrating,” LP‘s Canada Destination Editor Alex Howard told us. “Also, international visitors  can expect their money to go further due to the weak Canadian dollar, so now is the time to start planning a trip.”
