HANCOCK PARK HOUSE is a Spanish-style house that was modernized. Bestor Architecture reconfigured the house and opened up the rear of the property to create an open plan kitchen and dining area.
Commune Design
Santa Monica Apartment plan was to reconfigure the 1st floor to connect all rooms and open them up to views of the Malibu Coast. Everything in the property was fully customized to the client and their request to “bring in the outdoors” was achieved through the use of a colour palette inspired by Le Corbusier’s Maison La Roche.
Handcrafted Modern is a project located in San Francisco, California. It is a modernist Scandinavian architecture, the house has a limited material palette of lime-washed Norman brick, black terracotta tile, plaster, copper, blackened bronze and salvaged local redwood, walnut and elm.
Pierce & Ward
Pierce & Ward was the name to a match of forces by Louisa Pierce and Emily Ward. They gathered Art Deco lines that swooped over the crush of peacock velvet into the swish of a floral drape only to be stopped dead in its tracks by the stark cool of a brass lamp. They knew that the senses should be shaken and not stirred.
The way they both show their work is with glamour but never at the cost of comfort. And these mottos swirled and swelled into a style that transcended eclectic into an electric collective!
