Eaton House is a new generation work club, fusing leisure with business. Thus, this hospitality design trend will officially open in downtown Washington D.C. on 1 st October.
Katherine Lo, daughter’s of billionaire Lo Ka Shui, is building a gathering ground where no hotelier has ever been before, more than a leisure-workspace, it aims to make an impact by targeting those who are inquiring, curious yet refined, sharing, collaborative and believe in collective social good.
Eaton Hotel pioneers an interdisciplinary hotel experience to travelers seeking inspiration, innovation, and impact, the building that houses Eaton House DC will include amenities such as a 50-seat professional screening room, creator’s Room equipped with editing software and tools, wellness studio, private conference rooms, in-house radio station, and rooftop bar.
Hotel guests today are not easy to please and their expectations are high. Therefore, they are learning to expect extraordinary experiences in trendy hospitality spaces that inspire them, with a surprising feature.
So, Eaton Club wanted to introduce a new concept, where a work area sat next to a lounge, creating an exclusive office-cum-leisure space, it would be a facility where members could work and enjoy hotel facilities, like the bar or the pantry.
Nevertheless, the Eaton Hotel brings us a flexible layout to meet different needs, in that order the hotel was designed in such a way that the work area can be converted into an events area in a short time because most of the furniture is on wheels and can be moved around easily.
Indeed, Eaton is a different kind of hotel, definitely, it promises to shake up downtown D.C, it’s built on a very clear point of view about the world and people that are working to make it better, with shared values.
Accordingly, with the Eaton, the co-working space is key to creating the progressive, culturally minded vibe of the entire venue. To that end, Eaton is currently in the process of the co-working to help to build a community.
Eaton House hopes to become the coworking space for progressive social change, offering the optimal setting for socially conscious leaders across environmentalism, design, tech, nonprofits, activism, and the arts to maximize their dreams. For everything to turn out, the Eaton House has a vetting process for its prospective members and looks to appeal to “changemakers, activists and creatives”, because attracting like-minded individuals also drives the programming and the events they plan on having.
