Studio MHNA, founded by Marc Hertrich and Nicolas Adnet, is an interior design studio that pursues the idea of elegance blended with the French style, in order to create unique interiors. Since the start, Studio MHNA has been imagining, conceiving and developing projects with highly personalised and creative atmospheres.
Marc Hertrich began by studying illustration and woodwork at Strasbourg School of Decorative Arts, later joining the firm of the renowned architect Michel Boyer, who sent Hertrich to work on the Hotel Richemond, in Geneva. For five years, Marc Hertrich explores the world of palaces and luxury, learning a whole new meaning for the word ‘extraordinary’.

For this project, Studio MHNA imagined a design that combined the luxurious world of yachts and the marine world. Present in the hotel’s design is also the Studio’s will to pay tribute to the Phocean city, through the evocation of the Gyptis’ legend and Hymenee’s cup, the city’s founding myths of Marseille.
This hotel was created as a tribute to one of the common fundamental values of Morocco and France – the art of hospitality. Studio MHNA designed with clean lines beside Moorish ornaments and Art Deco style.
Marc Hertrich and Nicholas Adnet met in Paris and quickly realised they both shared the same desire to infuse everyday life with beauty. They started to put together large-scale hotel projects all around the world, and since then, Hertrich and Adnet have personalised their creations by using culture, past and traditions found locally at the site of each project, as well as formed alliances with the unequalled talent of artists and artisans that are now part of Studio MHNA.

This venue was inspired by the iconic French Hôtels Particuliers, like a palace for hedonism in Goethe’s city. The passion for art is ubiquitous, selective, humorous and eclectic, which has become the hallmark of this hotel. The atmosphere is one of modern classicism, an impeccable balancing act between styles that creates an environment where one immediately feels at home in a private but lively space.
