Arthur was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1935. He attended Cornell University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture. Upon graduation, he worked for architecture firms in New York and Jamaica to gain some experience and then founded his own company which is now widely recognized as the world’s leading collaborative design firm. This interior designer recent collaboration with the firm began with an evaluation to relocate or stay within the offices they originally redesigned.
