The designer had one big challenge from the start: to manage the space of a large living room set and the contiguous dining room, entrance hall, and kitchen. She had in mind that this was a family home and she could not give up the functionality of the design.

In the living room, Patricia made the most of the herringbone parquet floors, marble fireplace, double doors and floor-length windows. She chose neutral colors for the sofas, rugs, and Baccarat style lighting fixtures, which were crucial to making the apartment feel even airier. On the other hand, pillows and other furniture pieces such as ottomans and armchairs bring a pop of audacious purple hues and ochre. One of these key items was the DUKONO armchair from Brabbu placed in a joint area, in the middle of the room.
