Born in the UK, Miranda soon fell in love with the beautiful English countryside and with the whole notion of gardening. Growing up having to take care of gardens and animals became a source of inspiration instead of a boring task she used to have to do.
From planting to digging, conceptual and abstract, she loves most aspects of her job. Brooks manages to connect structural design with wild plantings. With a rambling, romantic style, her main goal while designing is to be one with nature.
When looking at one of Miranda’s gardens, there is a sense of mistery. It looks as if nature alone created such a beautiful space, when actually it was meticulously designed. The secret is to embrace nature and include the landscapes in every little detail.
Miranda Brooks has redefined landscape design and she is not stopping there. With her mind set on the future, Miranda says that she is looking for authenticity.
