Light + Building 2016 takes place from 13th to 18th March in Frankfurt, Germany, and is the world’s biggest trade fair for lighting and building-services technology and presents solutions that cut the energy consumption of a building at the same time as increasing the level of comfort in modern living.
Every two years, the industry presents its latest innovations for the fields of lighting, electrical engineering, house and building automation and software for the construction industry at the world’s leading trade fair for architecture and technology. The main theme at Light + Building is energy efficiency.
BRABBU will be exhibiting for the first time at Light + Building 2016 and the brand Design Studio is working hard to surprise the visitors. Some Lighting News have already been communicated in the website, however there are some pieces that will be present only in the trade show.
BRABBU Lighting collection uses brass as main material and the different handmade and nature inspired finishes give the special and unique touch at each individual piece. It is a mix of modern-classic style, with luxurious design, materials and finishes that makes the secret of BRABBU contemporary lighting collection – perfect for modern living.
See here 3 of the new pieces you will find there.
Cyrus was the brave Persian king that conquered Babylonia and its Cylinder was the document that proves it. CYRUS Lamps were inspired by the freedom and the vast culture of the Persian civiliza- tion. Original furniture pieces, made in polished brass. Luxurious, yet, sober and exquisite.
A while ago BRABBU visited Wat Arun, a budhist temple in Thailand. When the first light in the morning hits the temple, Wat Arun reflected it in a pearly iridescent way. Watching this is one of a lifetime experience. To perpetuate it, BRABBU designed a contemporary lighting piece named ARUNA. A gold plated wall light, ARUNA has the same name of the Hindu god that inspired the Wat Arun temple. ARUNA, the god and Wat Arun, the temple embody the concepts of new light, new day and a new opportunity to live. These concepts were as well engraved in this BRABBU’s contemporary lighting piece to remind that each new day is a gift to be seized. ARUNA Wall Light is after all a metaphor for the rising sun.
