DC has a new luxury outerwear shop and the interiors are fabulous. Designed by the french designer duo Gilles et Boissier<\/strong><\/em>, the shop interiors show exactly what drives the designers during the creation process: If strict lines and a distinctive taste for fine woods can be attributed to Patrick Gilles, Doroth\u00e9e, on her end, has a way with spatial fluidity, colors, and intuitive elegance.<\/p>\n

\"Gilles<\/a><\/p>\n

The high-end brand Moncler was founded in a French mountain village, and its original goal was to dress mountaineers. That mountain aesthetic can still be seen in the identity of the brand \u2013 a mix of performance designs with fashionable silhouettes. This explains why there are two bears in the windows of the shop. The designers strove to reflect the origins of Moncler, and they definitely succeeded, giving it a wild twist.<\/p>\n

Looking at the interiors of the luxury shop we can see that fit-for-a-palace bronze busts accessorize a snowy ch\u00e2teau vibe. The 2,185 square-foot space is decorated with dark wood paneling and gray marble floors to go with the glass and metal shelving, a kind of signature touch from the designers.<\/p>\n

Dark wooden ceilings and walls, decorative art and marble floors are what we can find in this new boutique at CityCenterDC. The luxury materials, along with the elegant way the designers found to organize the space, make visitors want to linger.<\/p>\n

Gilles et Boissier are not new designing the luxury boutiques for Moncler; The brand had previously invited the famous interior designers to decorate their stores in New York (2010), Milan (2008\/ 2013), Beijing (2011), Paris (2013\/ 2015), Istanbul (2015), Tokyo (2015) and Seoul (2016). The fact that the french duo keeps coming back to designing the Moncler stores is explained in their website \u201cIt is the constant refinement of our clients that has pushed us into designing wild Moncler stores for Remo Ruffini\u201d.<\/p>\n
