Spazio Rosso \u2013 Creates a look intriguing and a little irreverent, this room gives a cheeky nod to grand traditional Louis XV style. Vintage horns, painted gold, offer a counterpoint to crisp and tailored Ralph Lauren linens. Rossi covered the Bank of Ralph Lauren in the leather upholstery Edelman bright pink and then sinfully added printed graphic Treasury papers above the bed.<\/p>\n

Nina Farmer \u2013 An old mercury-mirrored Cabinet above the Mantel hides the television, that can be easily deployed on movie night. We have a family room, disguised as a formal living room, material and texture. Farmer has inherited many of the original details of the House, including the plaster casts and blue Peacock tile fireplace surround. Your additions include furniture in a blend of genres, the art deco club chairs to the lush Tufts sofa to the Louis XVI chairs.<\/p>\n

Catherine Truman-Designed to share the space with the living room of a house in Cambridge loft-style, the kitchen not only had to be all buttoned up, also had to be functional, accommodating a large family that loves to cook. It includes a cooktop of 9 feet, a stainless steel backsplash for easy cleaning and a wok burner to prepare Asian cuisine.<\/p>\n

Butz + Klug \u2013 A dining room with new classic details such as crown molding and base, as well as completely modern touches like mahogany-framed Fund input, reflect the past and present home. the designers built a narrow trimmer anchored on the wall and added a graphite sketch melancholic by local artist Sandra Allen, end it with a glamorous Italian glass pendant to make the dining room flexible enough to organize formal dinner parties and support the daily traffic of foot.<\/p>\n

LDA Architecture & Interiors and Weena & Spook \u2013 Unadorned floor-to-ceiling windows were just the beginning: The back-to-back custom-designed vanity cleverly sits in the room\u2019s center, its lightness emphasized by a cantilevered base and double-sided mirrored cabinet. The countertop, in ethereal white Thassos, is a single continuous surface that slips below the mirror, elegantly tying the two sides together. Details such as curbless showers, frameless-glass shower enclosures, and white pendant lights minimize shadows, drawing the eye instead to the lush greenery beyond.<\/p>\n
