London Design Festival 2015 ended yesterday.\u00a0This year, BRABBU gave a special attention to Decorex, where we exhibited and to 100% Design, where our partner brands Delightfull and Boca do Lobo exhibited.<\/p>\n

During London Design Festival 2015 we walked around the city, and the following design pieces, exhibitons or\/and installations were some of the best that London gave to the design world this year.<\/p>\n

Lee Broom\u2018s Flower Shop<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Lee Broom created The Flower Shop to showcase his collection of Podium vases, which comprise marble bases and glass vessels in a variety of shapes.<\/p>\n

Described by Broom as \u201can immersive journey through a sea of flowers,\u201d the installation is located at his showroom on Rivington Street for the duration of this year\u2019s London Design Festival.<\/p>\n

Tom Dixon\u2019s\u00a0multi-sensory temporary department store \u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

British designer Tom Dixon has partnered with Selfridges to open a multi-sensory temporary department store at the Old Selfridges Hotel in London.<\/p>\n

The Mise-en-abyme installation\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

The Mise-en-abyme installation was created by London designers Matteo Fogale and Laetitia de Allegri, who were partnered with UK company Johnson Tiles for the project.<\/p>\n

Holes cut out from vertical sheets of coloured acrylic form a tunnel designed to distort perspective across a bridge in the V&A museum.<\/p>\n

Mischer\u2019Traxler<\/a> interactive Curiosity Cloud installation<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vienna studio\u00a0Mischer\u2019Traxler\u00a0has filled an ornately decorated room at the\u00a0V&A museum\u00a0with glass bulbs containing hand-made insects, which flutter around inside in response to the movement of visitors.<\/p>\n

Bilge Nur Saltik\u2018s glass OP-vases<\/strong><\/p>\n

Turkish designer Bilge Nur Saltik has created a line of hand-cut patterned glass vessels that create a kaleidoscope effect when filled with flowers.<\/p>\n

Zaha Hadid,<\/a> BIG and others reinterpret Arne Jacobsen\u2018s Series 7 chair\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Patricia Urquiola\u2018<\/a>s Salinas System based on her grandfather\u2019s kitchen\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Italian brand Boffi presented a modular kitchen system by Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola at its Chelsea showroom during London Design Festival 2015.<\/p>\n

The Shooting Star Sculpture by Alex Chinneck<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Alex<\/a> \"London<\/a><\/p>\n

Known for his architectural installations that involve visual trickery, Alex Chinneck is set to balance a telegraph pylon top-down at a site on the Greenwich Peninsula so it appears to have fallen from the sky.<\/p>\n
