Designjunction<\/a> will return to the London Design Festival from 24 to 27 September, now the fifth edition is set to exhibit more than 180 leading international design brands at The College \u2013 a five-floor venue once home to prestigious London arts institution Central Saint Martins.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

On the event we can count with a full programme, includuing Flash Factories, live activities such as sound-responsive light sculpture by London design consultancy Haberdashery, and a \u201clive doodle\u201d session from New York artist Jon Burgerman.<\/p>\n

Hanging from the main stairwell in The College \u2013 the venue located in a building formerly occupied by arts institution Central Saint Martins \u2013 we will see Flame-shaped lights captured in glass bubbles will form a 20-metre installation by contemporary lighting studio LUUM.<\/p>\n

Lightjunction will take over the entire ground floor of the former college, showcasing innovative lighting exhibitions from the likes of Fontana Arte, Haberdashery and Northern Lighting in what was once the staff headquarters and dean\u2019s office.<\/p>\n

Design brand Wrong for HAY is collaborating with coffee brand Noble Espresso to create a bespoke cafe, while a pop-up underground station made entirely from wood will be situated next to the Transport for London cafe.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s seminar programme will be themed on Design for a Reason and will take place in the former 300-seat Cochrane Theatre at The College.<\/p>\n

More than 50 design-led pop up shops will be present across the road Victoria House B1 , nearly doubling the show\u2019s retail offering. It will be the premier destination for all the latest home accessories, luxury leather goods, statement jewellery, limited edition art prints, unusual stationery and much more.<\/p>\n

Across the road at Victoria House \u2013 Designjunction\u2019s second new venue \u2013 leather craftswoman Candice Lau will be showcasing how she constructs her Kuku Big Bag range using a traditional saddle stitching technique.<\/p>\n

At Handmade Alliance\u2019s flash factory, visitors can have a cushion made in front of them in their choice of Pantone colour.<\/p>\n

A herd of customised Eames Elephants accessorised by 21 world-renowned designers will also be on show at Victoria House as part of this year\u2019s A Child\u2019s Dream charity project, which aims to raise funds and awareness for the Teddy\u2019s Wish charity.<\/p>\n
