Moooi<\/a> is taking the next step towards the unexpected welcome in its London journey by moving to a new address in a striking and well known landmark of Sea Containers House. During London Design Festival,<\/a> Moooi will be presenting inspirational living sets incorporating our latest designs and a selection from the new Moooi Carpets collection in this new location. To top it all,\u00a0a magnificent view of\u00a0the Thames river complements the Moooi world.<\/p>\n

Ever since opening of Tate Modern, the Thames Southbank has slowly evolved into a creative industries hub and Warren Platner\u2019s Sea Containers has geographically been at the very heart of it.\u00a0One of its new tenants is awards winning BDG Architecture + Design practice who we have a pleasure of collaborating with\u00a0by occupying their ground floor space, The Residency, which was launched as a creative initiative on the Southbank to promote the best in contemporary design. With an exciting programme of activities, The Residency is set to be a fresh venue for celebrating design.<\/p>\n

As always, Moooi is striving to give you The Unexpected Welcome by\u00a0presenting during London Design Festival new designs by Arihiro Miyake, Atelier Van Lieshout, Jonas Forsman, Bertjan Pot, as well as creations by Front for Moooi Carpets.<\/a><\/p>\n

Let yourself be enchanted by Miyake\u2019s Coppelia Lamp inspired by ballerina\u2019s graceful dance with its sinuous movements, a delicate after-image suspended in the air. You are also invited to discover Statistocrat Floor Lamp; a multifunctional light with its towering two meters and all-embracing light beams, and a handy side table offering you support as any great companion would! Born in the name of flexibility and adaptability, the Jonas Forsman\u2019s Shift Chairs beat\u00a0all pre-conceptions on foldable chairs by being extremely practical and delightfully cosy at the same time, transforming and adapting to different situations. Take your time to celebrate together with the Carbon Chair a new family addition: the Carbon Barstool which embodies the same passion for craftsmanship, but literally takes it to another level.<\/p>\n

Launched in April during Salone del Mobile, Moooi Carpets explores the world at the cross section of design, fashion and art worlds, offering itself as a blank canvas for all creative minds. London introduction shows Eden Queen by Marcel Wanders and Scribble by Front.<\/p>\n
