{"id":2171,"date":"2015-09-15T09:39:25","date_gmt":"2015-09-15T09:39:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.brabbu.com\/en\/news-events\/?p=2171"},"modified":"2015-09-15T09:39:25","modified_gmt":"2015-09-15T09:39:25","slug":"rado-star-prize-winners-at-paris-design-week-2015-revealed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.brabbu.com\/en\/news-events\/events\/rado-star-prize-winners-at-paris-design-week-2015-revealed","title":{"rendered":"Rado Star Prize Winners at Paris Design Week 2015 revealed"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/brabbu.com\/blog\/2015\/07\/paris-design-week-2015-the-rado-star-prize\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\">Rado Star Prize<\/a> aim to support the work of young or unestablished designers by offering them a platform to show their work to experts from the design field and the general public alike.\u00a0 Held in the context of a larger design event, such as <a href=\"http:\/\/brabbu.com\/blog\/2015\/01\/alain-ducasse-a-luxury-restaurant-to-be-at-paris-design-week-2015\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\">Paris Design Week<\/a>, Vienna Design Week or the World Design Capital\u00ae Cape Town 2014, the Rado Star Prize aims to bring the work of young designers to the fore.<\/p>\n<p>Chosen by the jury, the winner of the RADO Star Prize at Paris Design Week 2015, were actually two:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cDANCERS\u201d BY AUR\u00c9LIE HOEGY<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00ab Dancers \u00bb is a collection of chairs in cotton and latex, soaked and dried, inspired by a choreographic movement, which explores a new perspective of functionality between movement and stability, far removed from the classic object and its everyday use.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.brabbu.com\/en\/news-events\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/rado-star-prize-winners-paris-design-week-2015-2.jpg\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2174\" src=\"http:\/\/www.brabbu.com\/en\/news-events\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/rado-star-prize-winners-paris-design-week-2015-2.jpg\" alt=\"rado star prize winners paris design week 2015 2\" width=\"655\" height=\"389\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.brabbu.com\/en\/news-events\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/rado-star-prize-winners-paris-design-week-2015-2.jpg 655w, https:\/\/www.brabbu.com\/en\/news-events\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/rado-star-prize-winners-paris-design-week-2015-2-300x178.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.brabbu.com\/en\/news-events\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/rado-star-prize-winners-paris-design-week-2015-2-350x208.jpg 350w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 655px) 100vw, 655px\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cPROJET S\u201d BY JULES LEVASSEUR<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the project \u00ab S \u00bb, Jules Levasseur made impressive use of an industrial material which is an icon of basic construction: corrugated iron. This material is used for its mechanical, plastic and rhythmic qualities, and confers a unique identity on the objects produced.
