One of the most renowned interior design companies, HBA London <\/a>designed the interiors of Alpina Gstaad Hotel,<\/a> one of the top hotels in Switerzland. To this project, HBA London selected BRABBU\u2019s VELLUM wall lamp<\/a> to be part of the hotel\u2019s ballroom.<\/p>\n

\u00a0The Alpina Gstaad<\/span> is a luxury hotel in Switzerland for the world\u2019s most discerning travellers that opened in December 2012. More than a place to stay in the Swiss Alps, it is a new icon for Gstaad combining Swiss tradition and thoughtful luxury.<\/div>\n

The hotel\u2019s design makes use of materials and craftsmanship typical to the region, including centuries-old fir wood crafted by master artisans. The result goes beyond Swiss stereotypes to create a fresh interpretation of Alpine chic.<\/div>\n

For the interior design project HBA London<\/span> took the traditional chalet form of the building into the interior and contemporised it. Warm reclaimed rustic timber forms the envelope to most of the spaces and there are many references to local customs and craft skills, from elaborately hand-painted ballroom doors in the manner of centuries-old farmers\u2019 paintings to intricate patterning embroidered onto some of the armchairs<\/a>.<\/div>\n
