Louis Vuitton<\/span><\/strong><\/em>, on the 1st of February, launched their first-ever restaurant\u00a0in their new Osaka flagship store in Japan. Sugalabo V<\/strong>, a restaurant and caf\u00e9, will only seat a few guests per night, and with invitation-only.<\/p>\n

Louis Vuitton Maison Osaka Midosuji<\/em><\/h2>\n

\"All<\/a><\/p>\n

Jun Aoki<\/strong> and Peter Marino<\/strong> were the experts behind the Japanese nautical designed inspired showroom. The building was thought to celebrate\u00a0Osaka\u2019s sea-faring history with an architecture look-alike\u00a0white sails,\u00a0giving the location the look and feel of a traditional Japanese cargo ship.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis new four-floor store reflects Osaka\u2019s heritage as Japan\u2019s most important port and highlight\u2019s the city\u2019s growing role as an international travel hub,\u201d- Louis Vuitton<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

At Osaka\u2019s flagship store, costumers will be able to find refined eating experiences from the famous\u00a0Japanese chef<\/strong>\u00a0Yosuke Suga <\/strong>in\u00a0the restaurant\u00a0\u00a0Sugalabo V and\u00a0Le Caf\u00e9 V<\/strong>. Both located on the\u00a0top floor of the store, Louis Vuitton\u2019s goals were to bring a different experience to alure their shoppers from their laptops.<\/p>\n

\u201cA restaurant can be a meeting point where you often go and spend time. I guess Osaka is a city important enough, but not vital, where such an experiment can be conducted safely.\u201d \u2013\u00a0Luca Solca, managing director of luxury goods research at Sanford C. Louis Vuitton \u2013 Restaurant Sugalabo V<\/h3>\n

This restaurant will accept a few guests each night, and by invitation only. The restaurant\u2019s reservation page\u00a0encourages prospective diners to \u201cfavourite\u201d the establishment and wait for a notification from the restaurant. Also, it is possible to know that this restaurant private retreat<\/span><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0dinner tasting menu begins at 30,000 JPY (approximately $275 USD).<\/p>\n

Comparing to the restaurant, here a more casual experience can be found.\u00a0An airy cocktail bar is complemented by an outdoor terrace, and an oval-shaped \u201ccocoon room\u201d.<\/p>\n
