with built-in storage, based on floor tiles in a heritage-listed 1920s home in Tel Aviv, Israel.<\/p>\n<p><a Heritage Site filled with Art Deco, Bauhaus and International Style buildings constructed when Tel Aviv was expanded in the 1920s and 1930s.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.brabbu.com\/en\/news-events\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/David-Amar%E2%80%99s-Bialik-furniture-collection-inspired-by-Art-Deco-floor-tiles-in-a-Tel-Aviv-home_.jpg\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1043\" sizes=\"(max-width: 655px) 100vw, 655px\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The exterior of the building on Bialik Street, close to the city\u2019s Bauhaus Museum, was renovated in keeping with its original design like many similar properties in the area.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, one of the few authentic features to remain inside was a set of floor tiles preserved as a \u201crug\u201d embedded within a dark cast-concrete floor.<\/p>\n<p>The tiles were the starting point for the collection of furniture that Amar designed for the dressing room in which the decorative floor was found.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.brabbu.com\/en\/news-events\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/David-Amar%E2%80%99s-Bialik-furniture-collection-inspired-by-Art-Deco-floor-tiles-in-a-Tel-Aviv-home_1.jpg\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1044\" sizes=\"(max-width: 655px) 100vw, 655px\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe furniture\u2019s colours complement the tiles while suggesting a neutral, yet playful atmosphere,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The free-standing dressing unit is made of powder-coated steel frames, connected to a dark cast-concrete base.
