The Spanish interior designer Lorenzo Castillo<\/strong><\/em>, besides of being a \u00a0magnificent antiquarian and decorator, is a visionary who is not afraid to mix styles.<\/p>\n

When you are one of the top interior designers in Spain and your weekend getaway is a seaside villa, you\u2019re bound to decorate with a creative mix of styles. Lorenzo Castillo<\/em><\/strong>\u2019s retreat\u00a0on the Cantabrian Sea<\/em> was once a home to the glamorous Marquesa de Arg\u00fcelles before his grandparents bought the Asturian property in the 1930s. After his mother sold the place -when Castillo was a teenager- the designer manage to bought back the house and quickly set to work establishing his modern interior design.<\/p>\n

In the interior architecture of the villa, specifically the living room area, you can get velvet curtains that contrast with zebra skin cushions and a sofa dress with a large window. But far from being overwhelming, the combination is harmonious, an impressive modern vacation house.<\/p>\n
