There was already a bar<\/strong><\/a> before Margot<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0but the luxurious hotel group\u00a0sought a high design that matched the high standard of service at the hotel.\u00a0Ford Fry was the Chef selected. He\u2019s not only nominated for a James Beard Award but also a local hero on the Atlanta food scene with an empire with eleven restaurants across the world.<\/p>\n

Meyer Davis Studio<\/strong> \u2013 founded by Will Meyer and Gray Davis \u2013 was the responsible for the incredible design, inspired by The Royal Tenenbaums, a Wes Anderson\u2019s film. The bar\u00a0owns its name to Margot\u00a0Tenenbaum, the\u00a0contradictory, literary genius played by Gwyneth Paltrow in the cult classic.<\/p>\n

The goal was to modernize and take risks without compromising the Four Seasons<\/strong><\/a> standards. Bring life to the space through bold colors and patterns and create the ambiance of a gentleman\u2019s club\u00a0with the\u00a0charm of\u00a0modern Southern hospitality.<\/p>\n

Bar Margot<\/strong> is a stylish and iconic space with a sense of drama and theatrical design moves. It also includes a quirky mix of contemporary art, classic books, statement prints and pops of orange that stands out against a background of smoky greys. The use of upholstered furniture and rich materials helps to create a cozy, club atmosphere.<\/p>\n
