The structure of the building was stripped back to bare brick to accommodate structural work that included further basement excavation, a crittall type extension, and rearranging all of the floors to provide a family and pet friendly home. The design brief was eclectic and playful, with bold use of pattern, materials, and texture, as well as sympathetic reintroductions of cornices, traditional skirtings, and architraves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
