Philippa Devas<\/strong><\/em> is a leading name in British Interior Design, featuring in the House & Garden 100 Leading Interior Designers. She has established a reputation for producing elegant and restful interiors that suit her client\u2019 s lifestyle.<\/p>\n

Devas began working for Percy Bass, then became an assistant to Chester Jones at Colefax & Fowler, before working at Chester\u2019s own company where she honed her natural talent and eye for space, proportion, light and texture.<\/p>\n

Devas Designs was established in 1998 and Philippa has since worked on many diverse projects from large country houses to modern London flats, carving out a successful niche for the company.<\/p>\n

Philippa creates interiors combining practicality with a chic, muted style and works closely with clients using existing architectural elements as a starting point. Philippa also sources furniture, paintings and works of art for clients either as a one-off or as part of a design project.<\/p>\n

One of her residential projects was featured in the August 2011 issue of House & Garden, which showcases the owner\u2019s beautiful antique furniture, tapestries, objets d\u2019art and Old Master drawings.<\/p>\n
