Kicking off right after New York Fashion Week,\u00a0London<\/strong> has established itself as an international hub for emerging designers and\u00a0established players alike and will host\u00a0over 90 different shows and presentations in total. Take a look at the top designers and emerging stars to look for at London Fashion Week<\/strong><\/em>!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s become increasingly hard for independent designers to succeed in the fashion business today, but the key is having a unique point of view \u2013 and endless grit and determination. London Fashion Week<\/strong> portrays designers on both ends of this grit, the ones that are battling for their own unique style and the ones that headline every event they\u2019re on.<\/p>\n

\nBurberry<\/strong> is London\u2019s headline act, and this season promises to live up to the hype. This time, Burberry<\/strong> has moved from its regular Monday slot in Soho to a Saturday showing at a brand new venue at Old Sessions House<\/strong> in Clerkenwell. The show will be the first under new chief executive Marco Gobbetti<\/strong>, the former C\u00e9line CEO who took over the role from chief creative officer and president Christopher Bailey in July.<\/p>\n

Coinciding with the opening of the newly renovated Emporio Armani<\/strong> store on Bond Street<\/strong>, Italian legend Giorgio Armani<\/strong> has decided to take his Emporio show to London Fashion Week<\/strong> this month. The event will mark the first Armani showing in London<\/strong> since 2006!<\/p>\n

New York favourite Tommy Hilfiger<\/strong> will present his latest collaboration with social media supermodel Gigi Hadid<\/strong> on Tuesday 19th September at 7pm, in what will be his first showing in London<\/strong>.\u00a0This season\u2019s collection will also combine men\u2019s and women\u2019s looks for the first time in nearly a decade.<\/p>\n

Time for the newcomers! Taking part in the London Fashion Week<\/strong> can make or break these designers ascension to stardom, so we will be looking out for their shows with an added interest. The excentric Matty Bovan\u00a0<\/strong>is one of the must watch designers for this event,\u00a0a designer who sees textiles with the finely honed eye of an abstract expressionist, who isn\u2019t affraid to break the boundaries of fashion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Another not to be missed is Saturday\u2019s show from\u00a0Molly Goddard<\/strong>, whose masterly use of vivid colour and voluminous tulle wowed the LVMH Prize jury, which named her a finalist in this year\u2019s contest.
